I worked in &amp; enjoyed London for 9 years, flat shared with locals explored and left bits of my heart in Sevilla &amp; Toulouse, then returned to Wales to give my son an outdoors, healthier childhood. I\u2019m a big kid at heart and love to bring people together for events of all kinds. I don\u2019t mind challenges &amp; led a team of some 30 young people from disaffected backgrounds when I was the Operations Manager for a Social Enterprise. I have also done a long stint of work with Conwy County Borough Council managing some 70 lively recycling men &amp; their wagons to complete their work. This allowed me to see local government from the other side and, controversial, I know, but in my limited experience they have always been supportive &amp; helpful to anyone who asks. Nowadays, I\u2019m in education &amp; associated project work. I love this little gem of a Valley and have memories going back to childhood. In helping to set up the Trust &amp; Friends I wanted to protect the wildlife and community hand in hand against climate change and other pressures, for generations yet to come.
